Our Work with Reckitt

We help Reckitt implement Nature-based Solutions and set credible targets for their value-chains in five priority materials. Designing scientifically rigorous yet practical monitoring and evaluation protocols.

We are designing M&E strategies in collaboration with implementing partners such as Earthworm, WWF, and Circular Bioeconomy Alliance.

Working with Industry Leaders

Endorsed by industry standards (e.g. Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD)), corporates, financial institutions, and NGOs (e.g. WWF, Earthworm Foundation, Circular Bioeconomy Alliance, Global Canopy), our approach positions our case studies at the forefront of the market, including:

Technical support for TNFD pilots

TNFD logo
As one of the technical advisors for pilots of the Taskforce for Nature-related Financial Disclosure’s Locate Evaluate Assess Prepare (LEAP) framework, we are proud to be helping early adopters develop their internal processes for assessing their nature-related impacts, dependencies, risks, and the many opportunities to support biodiversity and human wellbeing, whilst achieving Net Zero.

Designing a robust, evidence-based M&E framework for the Circular Bioeconomy Alliance

CBA Logo
We are honoured to be working with the Circular Bioeconomy Alliance (CBA) to design a robust, evidence-based M&E framework to support the application of the Seven CBA Principles for Regenerative Landscapes.

The CBA Living Labs are being established across the world, with the aim to ‘provide knowledge-informed support as well as a learning and networking platform to connect the dots between investors, companies, governmental and non-governmental organizations and local communities to advance the circular bio-economy while restoring biodiversity globally.’ Crucial to this process is the assessment of biodiversity against a transparent framework, to support all stakeholders.

The Circular Bioeconomy Alliance is proposing to monitor and evaluate the impacts of their Living Labs against seven Principles for Regenerative Landscapes. These principles aim to assess initiatives according to their sustainability, resilience and local context, with the goal of regenerative landscape creation.

Nature-based Insights is working together with the CBA Scientific Advisory Board and local project implementers to co-design the CBA Living Lab’s monitoring and evaluation (M&E) framework. Including evaluating the seven principles’ alignment with existing standards – carrying out a robust review of guidelines, methodologies, indicators, and metrics recommended in peer-reviewed literature – and designing a specific M&E framework to support the seven CBA principles.

In the next phase of the project, we aim to work with project implementers and local stakeholders to test and further refine the M&E framework in terrestrial Living Labs.
